Trip to Yiddishland

The Workmen’s Circle’s Trip to Yiddishland program, our 7 day, 6 night retreat features four levels of Yiddish classes, dance & klezmer instruction, theater & music workshops, concerts & entertainment, children’s program, and three delicious meals per day.  This year’s program will take place from Monday, August 13-Sunday, August 19. All are welcome, from brand-new Yiddishists to fluent speakers.

Come explore our mameloshn on Sylvan Lake in nearby Dutchess County. Enjoy and learn with Yiddish water polo and bingo, nightly kave hoyz, and pool, lake, boating, tennis, and more.

LED BY: Kolya Borodulin with leading lerers and klezmer and theater artists including Motl Didner, Miriam Hoffman, Chava Lapin, Zisl Slepovitch, Deborah Strauss, Jeff Warschauer, Aaron Alexander, and others!

Rates range from $600-$1350, depending on room selections, and we’re pleased to offer university students a special $325 tuition with shared accommodations. All prices include meals, classes and rooms.
