Q: What is the name and address of the venue?
A: The JW Marriott Essex House New York at 160 Central Park South (between 6th and 7th Ave), New York, New York, 10019– located directly across from Central Park.

Q: How do I get to the JW Marriot Essex House Hotel?
A: It’s easy, and you’ve got options!
Subway: 1, 2, A, B, C, D to 59 St – Columbus Circle Subway Station or N, Q, R, W to 57 Street Subway Station.
Main Train Stations: Grand Central Terminal is 1.4 miles from hotel and New York Penn Station is 1.5 miles from hotel.
Driving & Parking: 160 Central Park South Garage – located at the hotel is $75 for cars/$80 for SUV or Icon Parking Garage – located at 166 W. 58 Street (58 St. between 6 and 7 Ave)

Q: What time should I arrive?
A: We know you’ll be eager to arrive, celebrate, and of course, meet our exciting honorees.
Doors will open at 6PM for general admission tickets. All guests must enter venue via the main hotel entrance on 59th St. (between 6th and 7th Ave.).

Q: What is the Dress Code?
A: The benefit dress code is Festive Attire:
For women – A dress or sleek trousers and blouse (i.e., black dress, sparkly sequin dress, or satin skirt are great examples)
For men – A dark suit with tie or button down with slacks (tie/blazer optional)

Q: Will I receive a physical ticket prior to the event?
A: No, once you are registered as our guest, you simply need to show up that night and tell us your name at check-in.

Q: I am a sponsor and am not sure we gave you our guest names…Who do I contact?

Q: What if I need a special meal such as kosher, vegetarian or I have dietary needs?
A: We are happy to work with you regarding any dietary restrictions. Guests with specific dietary needs (i.e., kosher, gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan) must contact the Workmen’s Circle directly in writing at info@circle.org by Friday, November 1 to accommodate food requirements.

Q: If I arrive late for the event, what should I do?
A: Check-in will be available be open until 7:30pm. If you arrive after, please go directly to the Ballroom and someone will assist you.

Q: Are there overnight accommodations?
A: Yes, there are a limited number of rooms available in the venue’s hotel at a discounted rate of $399 on Monday, December 2 ONLY. For information and  reservations, please click here: https://book.passkey.com/go/TheWorkmensCircle

Q: Can I take pictures with the honorees?
A: We will have organized photo opportunities available in designated locations within the venue. We kindly ask that you do not approach the honorees for pictures during the reception or dinner.

Q: Can I bring a camera/post pictures?
A: We ask that you do not bring large cameras and/or video cameras to the event. Using the camera on your mobile phone is preferred and encouraged! Make sure to use the hashtag #CircleCelebrates when posting.

Q: Is there coat check, where is it located, and what is the cost? 
A: Coat check is located on the lobby level near the ballroom. Look for staff to direct you. The cost is complimentary to all guests attending the Benefit.

Q: Will there be photographers and videography?
A: We will have professional photographers and videographers at the event. They will take photos and video throughout the evening.

By entering the event premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by the Workmen’s Circle and its affiliates and representatives. Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar events in the future, highlight the event and exhibit the capabilities of the Workmen’s Circle.

You release the Workmen’s Circle, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings.

You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event.
