You are cordially invited to the Workmen’s Circle 2018 Winter Benefit: Setting the Stage for Change on Monday, December 10, where we will honor award-winning playwright and screenwriter, Tony Kushner with our Activism and Jewish Culture Award!
Tony has received the National Medal of Arts from President Barack Obama. As the author of Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes, Tony received the 1993 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. A prolific and respected writer, his work features several other plays, including A Bright Room Called Day and the musical Caroline, or Change, films including Lincoln and co-author of Munich; and books including Brundibar, illustrated by Maurice Sendak.
