We believe we must build a truly multi-racial, multi-cultural democracy that works for every one of us. That’s why we’re not just defending democracy, we’re demanding it. And we’re fighting back against the rise of right-wing fascist politics that is threatening people and undermining American democracy.

Workers Circle activists across the nation are actively demanding democracy by fighting for comprehensive federal voting rights legislation, an end to the racist filibuster, for democratic rights in the workplace and fundamental human equality under the law. We engage in direct actions, work in coalition, and gather locally in democracy circles to build power and community to face this moment.

Right now the US is experiencing a surge in fascist political tactics as former President Trump and the right-wing extremists and lawmakers in his thrall try to consolidate power.
