Join us for In-person Outreach to Black Voters in North Carolina

Are you ready for some in-person action to fight voter suppression? Join us in Charlotte, North Carolina on Saturday, September 28 and the weekend of October 27!

Travel to Charlotte, North Carolina with the Workers Circle and Team Unity-NC, a voter-of-color partner of the Center for Common Ground, to go door-to-door and talk with Black voters to ensure they have the critical, non partisan, early voting and Voter ID information they need.

North Carolina is a state with many barriers designed to keep voters of color from casting their ballots easily, including limited hours or closed polling locations in communities of color, and strict Voter ID requirements. Many of you have been phone banking in support of Team Unity-NC's outreach each Wednesday. Now's your opportunity to join them on the ground.

No experience is necessary — we'll provide training. All you need is a smartphone and a desire to do the real hands-on work of building a multiracial democracy.

We're looking for 50 people who are ready to help make a concrete difference on the ground. Every person we bring increases Team Unity's outreach power. We'll be paired with local volunteers as we go door to door.
