This month, we will explore the recently reintroduced John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and why it is important to rally behind this bill and other pro-democracy bills even if the majority in Congress does not support it.

We will focus not only on legislative visits but also on who’s who in the congressional offices, how to build relationships with these staffers, and what to expect during a legislative visit. We will also explore how we sustain ourselves and the work amidst the many demands before us.
