Zilyin: Master klezmer clarinetist and celebrated dance musician from Réunion (FR), in a rare New York in-person appearance.

Deborah Strauss: Renowned klezmer violinist, Yiddish dance leader, and Workers Circle Yiddish Culture Organizer.

Aaron Alexander: Acclaimed klezmer drummer, violinist, educator, and Director of the New York Klezmer Series.

Community Klezmer Band Workshop
2:30 – 3:45 PM ET

Join Aaron Alexander, Deborah Strauss, and special guest Zilyin, in a collaborative rehearsal designed for musicians of all skill levels.

Yiddish Dance for Everyone
4:00 – 5:00 PM ET

Dance to live klezmer music by the Community Klezmer Band, featuring Zilyin, with expert dance guidance from Deborah Strauss.

Khanike treats will be served.

*Advance tickets are $10 and include discounted admission for Workers Circle members, seniors, and students. Day-of tickets are suggested at $18, but the $10 rate remains available for high school/college students, seniors, and Workers Circle members.
