Brooklyn Location Open House

The New York Workers Circle School in Brooklyn is hosting an Open House on Sunday, January 26, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Flatbush Jewish Center (327 East 5th St, Brooklyn, NY).

We are a secular, progressive Jewish Sunday school focused on cultural heritage, social justice, and community building. Our program includes Yiddish language, Jewish traditions, activism, Israel/Palestine, a B’nei Mitzvah program, family trips, and more. Classes for children ages 3 months to 13 years are held twice a month on Sundays at the Flatbush Jewish Center and in Prospect Park.

Our dynamic educators bring diverse backgrounds in arts, activism, and Yiddishism, creating a welcoming environment for multifaith, multiracial families. We invite families to enroll for spring or fall 2025. During the Open House, children can participate in classes, bring a Yiddish folktale to life with puppets featuring cooking and live music, while parents connect with current families and learn more about our program.
