Phonebank for Voting Rights

voting rights graphic 728.jpg

You’re invited to join the Workers Circle every Tuesday in August from 7-8 PM ET, for voting rights phone banking.

Hundreds of bills to suppress the vote are making their way through 49 state legislatures; 30 have already passed. These laws particularly suppress voters of color. The For the People Act, which has passed the House, would stop state voter suppression laws in their tracks. In June, Republican senators filibustered debate on the For the People Act. Join us as we work with the Center for Common Ground to reach voters of color in Arizona and patch them through to Senator Sinema’s office with the message “don’t let the filibuster stand in the way of our voting rights” and urge passage of the For the People Act.
