Together, We Light the Way
Sunday, January 19, 7:00 – 7:30 PM ET
ASL and Closed Captioning will be provided
Join us for a people-powered gathering that will connect you to communities nationwide as we fight for our democracy on the eve of the inauguration.
We invite you to join us for 30 minutes on Sunday, January 19, at 7:00 PM ET on Zoom for a special evening of inspiration, connection, and power. Grassroots leaders and musicians will join us as we reflect and rise together to light the way to the America we must become. Wherever you are, bring a candle to light at this national virtual gathering. At the conclusion of the program, we’ll light our candles and place them in the windows of our homes as a sign of our collective commitment to democracy, freedom, pluralism, rights, and equality.
We face an incoming president and MAGA leaders who have disavowed our Constitution, rolled back rights, and sown hatred and fear, putting people, our democracy, and our world at risk.
But the story of America is one that has been written by courageous people who have resisted those anti-democratic forces fearful of change and who have refused to abandon the fight for our fundamental equality. We draw on their words and that legacy of courage for this moment.
Bring your friends, family, and a candle on Sunday, January 19, as we recommit ourselves to building a nation that represents and includes us all.
