Democracy Circles: What’s Working

A Democracy Circle is a group of up to seven people who join together regularly to demand the democracy we need; a truly multiracial, multicultural democracy that represents all of us. Each circle is initiated by a circle convener, who picks a meeting time and place and brings people they know together in person or on Zoom to take action and to explore how we counter attacks on our democracy right now. We provide resources and training, you bring your passion and people.

Since September, Democracy Circles have been forming across the nation. At this virutal event, you’ll have the opportunity to learn what’s working from conveners of these circles. You’ll hear about how they got started, what keeps people engaged, and different styles of implementing this flexible model. You’ll hear about how individual Democracy Circles meet up with partners to take strategic and impactful action now as part of a growing multi-racial, multi-cultural people’s movement for our democracy.
