Send postcards to voters of color in Georgia ahead of the Georgia primary.
Join the Workers Circle in sending postcards to Black voters in Georgia with crucial information they need to cast their ballots for the Georiga primary.
We’re writing to registered Black voters in to alert them to crucial primaries in their districts. 80% of BIPOC voters do not generally vote in primaries, which leads to underrepresentation in the General Election. Primary voting greatly increases the likelihood of voting in the fall. The districts' primary candidates have shown distinctly different records, issues, and behaviors. Our postcards inform voters of where and when to vote, and key issues at stake. The deadline to request postcards is April 22, and all writers must send out their postcards by May 9.
We work in partnership with the Center for Common Ground, a people of color-led organization that fights voter suppression and empowers underserved communities to connect voters of color with the information they need to vote by mail and to vote early in person. Our postcarding supports on-the-ground efforts to reach Black voters by the NAACP, Black Voters Matter, and Mi Familia Vota.
