The five-session mini course will explore topics in Yiddish teaching. Using a hands-on, interactive approach, we will workshop topics that include: teaching the “difficult” grammar topics such as declensions, word order, idiomatic usage; teaching Yiddish variation, including dialect and spelling systems; teaching literary texts through creative activities; and teaching through film and new media.
