This class is an overview of my various attempts to mix together two important but not entirely related things in my life, Yiddish and environmentalism: from working on the Yiddish Farm, to doing compost outreach in Yiddish for the NYC Department of Sanitation, to "Green Yiddish" with the Workers Circle, and a couple abandoned writing projects in between. This is a free class, but contributions to power the Workers Circle Yiddish programming are welcome.
